5 books to organize your life in 2021
I LOVE to read. Like so much. 2021 is upon us. Time to organize and reset our lives and here are some books to help!
Grace Not Perfection- Emily Ley
This book no-joke changed my life and I bet it can change yours too. This book is great at giving manageable, actionable tasks that will organize your life, change your mindset, and leave room for all of the little fun moments. These books align with the Simplified brand and there’s multiple in the series- so plenty to follow up with! 10/10 recommend.
The Home Edit- Clea Shearer & Joanna Teplin
Anybody else become totally obsessed with Get Organized with The Home Edit on Netflix? I watched the series in a day and then bought both books, excited to do a complete home edit of my apartment when I return to Norman. I love this book because guess what? With The Home Edit, you DON’T have to give up having all of your stuff in order to make your space organized. I have lots of stuff that I just can’t seem to part with, so this method is super helpful in making maintainable systems to keep spaces clean. So this one’s a bit of a two parter as I’m recommending BOTH books- The Home Edit and The Home Edit-Life! If you want to see loads of beautiful pantries and organization systems that will totally inspire you to deep clean and organize your entire house? These books are it. Bonus: The books are super colourful.
How Not to Wear Black- Anna Murphy
But reaching for the same black shirt and pair of light wash jeans is just. so. easy. If you want to mix up your style or even figure out what your personal style basics are- this is it! Each season I look through this book for some new inspiration
Leave Your Mark- Aliza Licht
A bit more targeted towards those working in strategic communications and social media, but still great for anyone looking to advance in their career or getting ready to head into “real life!” Aliza has so many great stories and this book really resonated with where I want to go with a career in stratcomm!
Your Best Year Ever- Michael Hyatt
There’s so many things you want to do, but you just don’t know where to start. Yeah, we’ve all been there. However, if there’s an easy plan to follow with all the steps? No problem. This book outlines a 5-step plan to achieve all the goals you want to tackle in 2021- or any other year forward!
Happy reading!!
